Learn to sail with our American Red Cross Trained Sailing Instructors.

Never been on a boat before? Or perhaps you have sailing experience and want to refresh your skills?
We've taught people with all levels of experience.

In the classroom you will learn boating terminology, boating safety, and basic boat handling.
On the water you will gain 16 hours of hands-on experience using SEAS Westchester's fleet of Phantoms, Sunfish & similar single-sail boats.

First Open Sail Day, 2005



We are greatful to the Shattemuc Yacht Club of Ossining, NY,
who have hosted our on-the-water activities from their beach on Croton Bay, from 2009 through present.
Located on the eastern bank of the Hudson River, 6 miles north of the Tappanzee bridge,
Shattemuc Yacht Club is easily accessible by public and private transit
to residents of Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and NYC.

SEAS Westchester is one of four SEAS clubs in the Northeastern US. The others chapters are in Bergen County, Monmouth County,Morris County, in New Jersey. In addition, we have a national organization which we fondly call SEAS National.
